then if i were alone, i probably wouldn't want to bring books that are all about love and relationships (family, friends, SO), because those would make me feel lonely. i might actually try to bring a few books i haven't read, to provide me with a few days' worth of novelty. my favorite books (the ones i'd miss the most) tend not to be that long, so i might actually get sick of them if those were all i had to read. gotta have some type of survival guide for that kinda environment.
